Discovered the blackle?

I just bumped into blackle.com, and boy, its really cool. To begin with, I love black on anything….. and I’ve started blackling all the way….

Just try it out- anyone, its cool, and mainly, it saves up some energy too.

Olympics 2016 at Rio – I think I’m going to shift my base

Rio is one of the most beautiful places in the world. It has so many facets and that’s what makes the city so charming and beautiful. On one side, as you enter the city by road, you will see the most picturesque scenes. (Seen the giant Jesus statue on a mountain on many calendars? Its that one!). You can move your gaze, but your eyes will catch the statue again. On the other it looks like any city – high rise buildings, blah blah.

The city has a river (major waterways) running through a thickly populated area. There are huge high rise buildings, there are mountains that you can see (within the city area). And there’s the Copacabana beach. There is plenty of nightlife, fun and there’s cheer everywhere.

The only problem with working over there is the language. As in – if you plan to settle there, you need to learn Portuguese, but of course, everyone dabbles in English too.

I loved the place when I went there, and am glad that the Olympics is going to happen there. Guys, see this website – the official Olympics site for rio. http://www.rio2016.org.br/en/Default.aspx

If anyone is going there tell me!!!!!! Like someone had blogged – I’m going to shift base to Rio from 2013-2017.

Form vs function

We think that design decisions must be strategically driven and culminate in measurable results, but that’s not everything. We believe that research, strategy and marketing objectives are just the starting points of every project that we work on. The end objective, however, is a good user experience.

Why are some sites very easy to use? Why do they get better response from customers, and most importantly are able to get feedback and often are able to engage the audience, and get loyalty? Believe me, they have the same functionality and the same set of data. So its not just about developing a set of functions. Its about giving an easy-to-use form to the complex set of functions.

Agree?
